Seb is a Fulbright Scholar in Acting and Performing Arts, undertaken in New York City, and has an MA in Film and Television from Falmouth University in the UK. Also, an extensive career on and off stage as an actor, singer, dancer, musician and also as a director and choreographer. He is an experienced martial arts instructor and choreographer for theatre and film and is a filmmaker himself through Blue Butterfly Media, a company he started in 2013.
Being fully bilingual from birth led him to also become a translator and interpreter. He has toured with David Copperfield for a decade, has conducted over 100 interviews, one-on-ones and press conferences around the world and has also worked as a narrator and voice over artist for film, documentaries and corporate videos. As a designer he has produced 11 websites, multiple logos and online dossiers for various companies, including one for the State of Libya.
He also managed his own recording studio and designed the initial concept for Amore Infinito as a worldwide CD launch that promotes the use of Pope John Paul II’s poems as lyrics for songs in all genres of music. The CD was successfully released by Deutsche Grammophon in 2008 featuring Placido Domingo, Josh Groban, Katherine Jenkins and Andrea Bocelli.
In 2011 he co-produced and organised the last Be The Change event (called Being The Change) at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre where he also performed as the lead singer and pianist for SHiFT, a band he created as central characters for The Arc, a docu-series about a band who travel around the world in a sailing boat sharing music and life-changing experiences.
Seb has also worked as a coordinator for the Disney Character Programme in the US and Latin America and since 2001 he started developing The Rock Move, a worldwide project based on music and architecture to unite people around the globe in raising awareness about the oneness of humankind.
He has also recorded four albums of his own music and lyrics: Son of The Sun in 1993, How To Survive a King in 1998, The Turn in 2008 and Falling Then Flying in 2022. He released two EPs: SHiFT in 2015 and We Will Meet in 2017. Eight of his songs have been broadcasted on BBC Radio in Cumbria.
Between 2013 and 2023 Seb has also been restoring military vehicles and classic cars for a living and has completely restored 26 vehicles, including Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham’s Jensen Interceptor mk3 and one of 20 surviving SAS Pinkies which has been on display at the SAS museum in Hereford. He has uploaded over 3000 videos on social media about this.
As a filmmaker, Seb has three films currently circulating on the international festival circuit. His work has already earned him Best Director awards in both Budapest and New York, as well as Best Original Score accolades in Milan and Berlin for two separate films. One of his standout pieces, Not Here. Now, was also selected for screening at the Allentown National Museum in the US as part of the “What is Art?” programme.
Life
Seb holds three nationalities. He grew up in Argentina, the son of a English writer and a Spanish anthropologist. Since he was sixteen he was trained in martial arts by Tung Kuo Tsao, a Chinese Commando. He later became a martial arts instructor himself and has integrated this skill into his performance, becoming an expert in movement for the stage. Seb has also trained with special forces and is now a professional guide/rescue diver. He has lived and/or taught/worked in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Hungary, India, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Spain, UK, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela and since 2009 has also adopted Yoga as a regular practice. He lives in The Lake District, UK with his wife Catherine and their dog Rosie (now sadly not with them anymore), after raising two children (Louisa and Ben) who moved South to study at university and now live with their partners in London and Bristol.
